We are a community inspired by the Catholic tradition 'to live, to love and to learn.' We foster a respect for truth, the courage to seek justice, the gift of peace and the grace to forgive.
St. John Fisher valued social justice and service to the community. He was a person of integrity who promoted excellence through education. We strive to embody these values in everything we do and to instil them in our students as they grow and develop into young adults.
At St John Fisher College, we aim to empower our students to become responsible and compassionate citizens who are committed to making a positive impact in the world. We do this by providing a curriculum that not only prepares students for academic success, but also encourages them to develop their own unique talents and interests.
In the spirit of St John Fisher, we believe it is important for our students to understand their role in society and to take an active part in making the world a better place. We offer a wide range of opportunities for students to actively serve the local community and advocate for those at the margins of society. These experiences help our students to develop empathy and understanding, and to appreciate the importance of giving back to their community.
Our purpose is also driven by a commitment to social justice. Through our curriculum we expose students to social and political issues that deepen students' comprehension of the world and how to inspire change.
Our motto of "go far, see more, reach further" guides our holistic approach to education, which promotes spiritual, social, emotional, and physical growth alongside academic learning.
